PWA offline content
The installable site uses a service worker, versioned Cache Storage, and device-local metadata for visited safe public pages, page packs, and documents you explicitly choose. Pack records include page count, save date, content version, edition, incremental-update result, missing-page status, measured cache use, and a device-local text index for searching only the pages already saved.
Local browser storage may also hold the first-use checklist, Continue reading position, bookmarks, private notes, language and low-data edition, update-check preference, and reading preferences. These records create no account and are not sent to Leone Connect Publishing. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to read them.
Storage protection is requested only after a visitor chooses it. Optional reconnection or periodic background checks report freshness but never download a pack silently. Export creates a local JSON file that may contain private notes; restore reads only the file the visitor deliberately selects. Cached page and PDF bodies are excluded from that backup.
The optional fivec_text_first preference cookie stays on this device and tells WordPress to defer decorative attachment images. The PWA does not cache accounts, checkout, orders, payments, administration, network search requests, REST writes, requests, forms, subscriptions, streaming media, or personalized responses.
Use Offline Access to update or remove a pack or document, export or restore reader data, change reading preferences, or clear device records through the browser.
