Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply when you visit fivectheory.com, use a reader tool or public resource, submit a request, join a program, or place an order after ordering opens. By using the website, you agree to these terms and to the policies that apply to the feature you choose. If you do not agree, please do not use that feature.

The website is operated for The Five C Theory by Bhai-Dhawa Sesay and published by Leone Connect Publishing. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the website operator and publisher, as the context requires.

Current publication and ordering status

The Five C Theory is in prepublication. Paid preorders are not currently open, and prices shown on the site are planning prices until ordering officially opens. Joining the publication list, requesting a quote, or recording an edition interest is not a purchase and does not reserve inventory.

When ordering opens, the product page and checkout will show the available edition, currency, price, taxes or duties where applicable, delivery method, shipping charge, and any special conditions before payment. An automated acknowledgment confirms that we received an order; it does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order for unavailable stock, a pricing or description error, suspected fraud, an unsupported destination, or another legitimate operational reason. If payment was taken for an order we cancel, the amount collected will be refunded to the original payment method unless applicable law requires another method.

Permitted website use

You may browse public pages, link to them, use the site’s personal reader tools, download materials that are expressly offered for download, and use content within the license or permission stated on the relevant page. Personal bookmarks, notes, reading position, and planning work may be stored only in your browser as described in the Cookie Notice.

You may not interfere with security or website operation; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware; use automated collection that burdens the service; impersonate another person or organization; submit unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or abusive material; remove rights notices; or reproduce, sell, train a commercial system on, adapt, or redistribute protected material without a lawful basis or written permission.

Accounts, forms, and communications

Information submitted through a form must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not include material you are not authorized to share. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card details, government identity records, confidential contracts, or unpublished third-party material unless a specific secure process asks for it.

A newsletter subscription requires the consent shown on the form and may require email confirmation. You may change preferences or unsubscribe through the private link in an email. A request, application, comment, review, correction, or inquiry does not guarantee publication, acceptance, an interview, an appearance, a license, a quote, or a response by a particular date.

Contributions and private feedback

You retain ownership of material you create. If a form clearly asks for a public contribution and you choose to submit it for publication, you authorize us to review, edit for clarity and safety, display, reproduce, and archive that contribution for the stated website purpose. We will not present a private manuscript comment, email, interview discussion, or other private feedback as a review, testimonial, quotation, affiliation, or endorsement without separate permission.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to anything you submit and that publication will not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, copyright, or other rights. We may reject or remove a contribution that does not meet the published standards or that creates legal, safety, privacy, or editorial concerns.

Copyright and permissions

The website’s original text, book material, framework expression, emblem, diagrams, designs, recordings, videos, downloads, and other original materials are protected by copyright and related rights. Limited quotation may be lawful for criticism, commentary, teaching, scholarship, or news reporting, but there is no automatic word-count rule. Orders, payment, shipping, and downloads

Available payment methods will be shown at checkout and may vary by market. Institutional invoicing, cash-on-delivery, local payment, or other arrangements are available only when confirmed in writing for the specific order. Payment services, carriers, and external platforms may apply their own terms.

Physical orders are also governed by Shipping and Returns. Digital products are also governed by the Digital Download Policy. Educational, media, and organizational uses may require a separate license even when a copy has been purchased.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to or, after your choice, load services operated by third parties such as payment providers, carriers, Facebook, or YouTube. We do not control their availability, security, content, or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement, partnership, or responsibility for an external service.

Information and availability

We work to keep public information accurate and accessible, but publication dates, prices, inventory, events, delivery routes, files, and website features may change. Editorial and civic content is provided for education and public discussion; it is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and free public materials are provided “as available” without warranties that cannot reasonably be given for an evolving publication platform. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website, loss of browser-only notes or offline files, or reliance on an external service. For a paid product, any direct liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product, except where law requires a different remedy.

Changes, suspension, and ending use

We may update these terms when the website, publication, services, or law changes. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, rights holders, website security, or lawful operations.

Governing terms and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable United States law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that apply in the consumer’s place of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please use the Contact and Support route so the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved directly. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a consumer-protection process that cannot lawfully be waived.
