Facilitate responsibly

State the purpose, time and ground rules before discussion. Do not require disclosure or allow unsupported accusations.

  • Distinguish experience, interpretation, allegation, documented fact and opinion.
  • Apply the same standard to allies and opponents.
  • Protect confidential experiences.
  • End with one preserved question or specific next action.

Choose a format

Use the time available without sacrificing ground rules or the closing action.

  • 30 minutes: one passage, one focused question and one closing action.
  • 60 minutes: map the framework, discuss one question and reflect on action.
  • 90 minutes: individual reflection, small-group work, whole-group discussion and case mapping.

Six-session path

Move from the complete framework through each C toward interruption and action.

  • Framework and shared cycle map.
  • Culture and public responsibility.
  • Corruption beyond private access.
  • Citizenship and the Unknown Citizen Test.
  • Contentment, complacency and hidden costs.
  • Breaking the cycle with one demand and return date.
