Accountability Checklist

A disciplined sequence for turning a public concern into a claim that can survive distraction, fear and delay.

Prepare the claim

Define the concern, check the evidence and set one specific demand.

  • Identify the responsible institution and applicable standard.
  • Separate evidence, interpretation and suspicion.
  • Name an observable completion standard and return date.

Share responsibility

A movement asking for accountability should also document its own roles and decisions.

  • Distribute evidence, communication and follow-through roles.
  • Disclose conflicts, political interests and financial contributions.
  • Review privacy, safety and accuracy before escalation.

Engage, escalate and return

Escalation should move the issue toward greater authority, visibility or consequence rather than merely becoming louder.

  • Record every submission and response.
  • Recognize partial progress without erasing remaining obligations.
  • Return on the recorded date and decide the next step.
